We are lion cubs living in Dakar, Africa.
We wanted to tell you how Ms Lillian really knows how to handle cats, even big ones like us!

Lillian at Shadowlawn Cattery is clearly one of the best in the business. She was not only responsive upon the initial inquiry, but also very knowledgeable and accommodating. We got our Albus in April 2018 from the litter of Beauty (Queen) and Flavio (King) and could not be happier with our furry child. He not only has the looks of a beautiful pedigree cat, but he has a temperament to match! He greets us at the door every day when we get home, is very social with people/other pets, and might be the most cuddly cat I’ve ever met. I would HIGHLY recommend Shadowlawn if you’re looking to adopt a Siberian Cat.
Albus is about 8 months old in the photo weighing in over 11lbs with plenty left to grow.

We wanted to wait a while before reviewing our experience with Lillian and our new addition to our family.
Three months have passed and we are the owners of one of the coolest teenage cats we’ve ever seen or met.
Lillian has dedicated rooms for her kittens and they apparently experience nothing but love and attention from birth till they reach their new homes.
Our Siberian kitten, Sasha, is absolutely awesome!! He is beautiful, has an awesome personality and loves to play with our children and our 79 lb lab mutt dog. He totally owns this dog which is hilarious to watch! He is confident and fun without being a butthole. :)
We read reviews and very carefully chose to purchase from Lillian, it was a great decision and we couldn’t be happier with our new addition to our family!!

Dear Lillian,
I just wanted to share a picture of Boris.  His mane has really come in and now is beginning to look a lot like Stefan's.  He has two small light rust colored spots from Stefan and the rest is all from Zhenya.  You can just see a bit of that on his right inside leg.  I just love his color!  He continues to delight.  He has a robust personality that leaves no question about his likes and dislikes!  He communicates with me all the time.

I tell everyone how great siberians are.  Friends with severe allergies were over last evening and they had no reaction to him.  They might contact you and I told them to get on the list as there are several litters upcoming.
I couldn't have made a better decision to get him!  You do a great job of making kittens ready for a new home.  I've seen others sites where people talk about litter training AFTER they get their Siberian or having surgery after they get their kitten.  I didn't have to do any of that.  He was perfectly trained from the get go.

Thanks again for such a beautiful boy!

Hi Lillian,
I hope all is well.  I adopted a kitten from you at the end of May and just wanted to let you know how he is doing and how much I love him!  My kitten is an orange Mctabby and his mother is Yaneka.  I named him Hamilton and he is just the best kitten I could have asked for.  He is super playful and so fun to interact with and be around.  He has such a funny personality.  He also has the kindest spirit and always wants to be right by my side when I am home, which I love!  I also love that I can cuddle him and hold him and that he wants to sleep with me at night.  All of my friends and family that have been around him have just fallen in love with him.  In addition, I really have noticed that he is hyper-allergenic, as my allergies have not been an issue.  He is also healthy and growing normally according to the vet! I just wanted to send this email to thank you again and let you know how he was doing!  Attached are a few pictures.  Have a great evening!
Best, Caitlan Walsh

Always as sweet as pie. Our little Mimi Marie, daughter of Hugo and Lidiya is now 18 weeks old. She has the best personality, is full of energy and keeps us all on our toes over here. She is funny, curious and lovable. She is independent by day but quite the snuggler at night as she curls up next to our shoulders to sleep and keep warm. When the kids or I get home she always wants to greet us and say hello. She knows what she wants and she goes for it! Lillian's cats truly are the best Siberians EVER!! Do not hesitate for a moment to contact her for your special kitty. Every day we are thankful we went with Shadowlawn as our breeder!

I cannot say enough about Lillian of Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery and her kittens. We have been waiting for our two peanuts since they were 2 weeks old. It was a very long wait, however, it was worth every minute! They truly are magical and very special kittens. We named our seal point Flavio Jr after his father Flavio. He is from Pippi and Flavio's litter. He is absolutely stunning, the softest kitten I have ever felt. Our sweet girl is Mimi Marie, born from Lidiya and Hugo. She is a beauty and such a ham. Loves getting into everything and is very curious. We are so in love with them both and it has only been 2 days.
Let me just say that we looked long and hard for the perfect breeder and kittens. We spoke to many breeders and when we found Flavio Jr online at Shadowlawn, we knew Lillian was the right choice. Lillian responded right away with all of our questions while we were trying to make a decision. Being out of state, it is so important to be able to communicate effectively and Lillian does just that. She was friendly and very professional. As soon as we put our deposit down she began to send us multiple photos each week. We decided to add Mimi Marie a week later because who can resist them and she just melted our heart.
We are so thankful for Lillian and her loving home. Her cats are truly special. They came home and went right to their litter and started playing with their toys right away. We purchased all of the items Lillian uses so the kittens would have a smooth transition. If you are looking for a Siberian breeder, you must go with Shadowlawn. They are simply the best!!

My kitten was delivered to me last Thursday. Quincy is the most adorable kitten in the world. Of course, I am not biased. He adjusted immediately to us and his new surroundings. He has met his many uncles and aunts and has charmed all. He is the perfect combination of sweet and playful, beauty and brains. Lillian has been the best breeder. Her weekly gorgeous photos, informative emails, responsive phone calls, knowledge of Siberians and kitties, professionalism, and kindness has made purchasing Quincy a wonderful experience.

Dear Lillian,
We want to thank you so much for bringing our sweet Ketsy into our lives.  He is such a joy and like a brother to our son!! Ketsy is an incredibly loving, intelligent, playful, friendly, amazing addition to our family.  He rolls on his back for tummy rubs, loves to cuddle, sits on my husband's lap, and always greets guests. He plays and loves all of his toys, his tree house, and is a great eater.  His fur is like velvet and he is just incredibly gorgeous.  We all adore him and can't imagine what it was like before he came to us.  You made the adoption process so comfortable and enjoyable.

Thanks So Much,

Hi Lillian,
I just wanted to say again what a wonderful, incredible, totally loved member of the family Winston has become for us.  He is the most snugly, happy, loving and companionable animal I have every encountered and we couldn't be more delighted.

Because we have had such a wonderful experience we were thinking of getting Winston a companion.  While there is always someone here at the house, the girls are away with school and activities during the day.

"If you are considering a Siberian, look no further. Lillian is the best in the business and breeds wonderful cats. Our Cayenne is beautiful, healthy, incredibly social and a wonderful, well-balanced and engaged companion. We also have zero allergy issues with her. The entire adoption process from initial contact to delivery was totally seamless -- and we have very high standards. Proceed with complete confidence and assurance."

 Dear Lillian,
We adopted Simba from Flavio and Anoushka’s litter born April 12, 2015.  We can’t tell you enough how wonderful and beautiful he is!My daughter is allergic to cats so we were very worried of how she would react.  Surprisingly, she has had no allergic reaction to him at all!  Simba is very vocal, with different types of meows/sounds for various things that he wants.  He is so playful and loves to follow us from room to room.  We have trained him to sit and give us a ‘high 5’ with his paw. Simba also loves playing with water!  He is now eight months old and a joy each and every day. Simba has been a great addition to our family and we love him so much!  Thank you so much for providing us with the cat of our dreams.

Best regards, Sabrina Q. VA

Ginger is absolutely loving her new home and couldn't be happier. She is the most perfect kitten, well behaved, trained and such a sweetheart. Her personality is a perfect match to Andrew and I, we all bonded immediately and she spends equal time with both of us. She'll go find and and stay with him and then come find me and do the same. She loves to play and run all through the house with her toys. She sleeps in between us all night and cuddles up close and her purrs are ever so loud and pretty. Her meows are precious. I've never loved a kitty more and to have absolutely no allergies is Amazing!!
I can honestly say she is truly hypo-allergenic and I'm so glad because I could never give her up!!!

I can't begin to explain how wonderful our experience has been, from our first contact with Lillian (still communicating) to our daily laugh-out-loud moments with our Snowflake! Lillian and her entire family do not run a cattery, it's an absolute labor of love. After 2 years with our boy, I don't know how she's able to part with any of them. The temperament, antics, and pure beauty of this bread is unsurpassable. I have adopted and rescued cats my entire life and still can't understand why Siberians are so different, but until you own one it would be impossible to know. My husband is allergic to everything and cats are at the top of his list...I didn't believe it could be that bad, so I accompanied him to the allergist:) We took a chance and I'm so glad we did...Snowflake sleeps with him every night! I absolutely recommend Lillian, Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery and the Siberian breed, you can not be disappointed.

If you do some searches on-line for Siberian cats you will be overwhelmed.  As a first-time would-be cat owner I did about as much research as anyone could do.  I decided to go with Lillian for two reasons: Her kings and queens and other pictures of adult cats had the classic Siberian look I wanted but more importantly it was clear these cats were being raised in a loving home setting and were thoroughly socialized. Lillian answered all of my questions, payment was easy, and delivery couldn't have been easier. Going with Lilian is the best decision I could have made and it will be clear why as you read below. Sure every cat is different but you stand a far better chance of having a cat that is friendly and well-mannered when they are loved and socialized from an early age like Lillian's.

I've had my Scruffles (Brown Mackerel Tabby) for about a year and a half now.  Sure, I was prepared to love him unconditionally, but nothing could have prepared me for the incredibly strong connection we have.  I've heard other people describe their cats as "aloof"... "more of a roommate than a pet"... "temperamental"... but thankfully Scruff is the exact opposite.

Again as someone who has no background in cats I can't take credit for Scruff being the way he is.  It's as if this is the way he was programmed to have just the right temperament: very sweet, gentle, and easygoing.
He seeks out the company of people.  As I write this he is curled up asleep at the foot of my bed.  If I go downstairs he will escort me and supervise whatever it is that I'm doing.  When I come home from work he trots down the stairs to greet me.  He has no difficulty whatsoever with car rides, plane rides (to include TSA), and does great at the vet.

He sleeps when I sleep and is active when I am.   He gets along great with other animals and quickly adjusts to new situations and surrounding. Both my girlfriend and my parents have pets, 3 dogs, and 1 dog and 1 cat respectively; when we visit he acts as if he has lived there his whole life.

Some other interesting databpoints: he lets me brush his teeth and trim his claws.  Apparently claw trimming can be a harrowing experience from some cats but not for this one.  He is very playful.  If I'm busy he is quite capable of playing on his own hitting balls with bells all over the house.  Alternatively he will bring me something specific that he wants to play with.  Most of all however he loves playing fetch with plastic bottle caps. Yes, he brings it back.  No training on my part; it's just something he likes to do!

In short he has been an absolute delight for me and I'm so thankful that I found him.  He is the perfect little companion.

Hi Lillian,
Just to let you know, Tasha is doing well.  She is just so beautiful.  We love her very much.  She is very attached to me and likes me to give her my undivided attention.  She loves my husband too.
Sometimes I think she thinks she's a dog.  She is very mischievous and smart.
She is now 7-1/2 months and still a kitten.
We love her very much and she gets a lot of attention -- maybe she's spoiled, but so were my previous two cats.

Hi Lillian and Family,

I wanted to give you an update on our cat Skittles. She is one of Feya and Yuri's kittens.  We have really enjoyed having her as a pet. She just turned 2 in human years this past August. She is playful, loving, spontaneous, curious, and most of all a beautiful cat. We always get so many compliments on how beautiful she is.  I can't tell you how hard it has been growing up in the past with pets, and not being able to love on them because of suffering from allergies. It has been so nice owning a Siberian. What a difference! My husband and I can snuggle, love and be around our cat.
Most of all we can live an allergy free life with Skittles. Hopefully in  the future we might add another Siberian to the family to give Skittles a cat brother or sister.                                            Thanks again for all that you do with your cats. I know you treat them as family and it shows!

Dear Lillian,

Thank you so much for our little fur ball, Nikolai! We were so sad when we lost our 15 year old kitty that it took almost a year before we were ready for a new pet. After a lot of research, we decided on a Siberian because of the breeds friendly personality traits and because we have a son-in-law who is allergic to cats. I set out to find a breeder on the internet. I looked all over the Midwest and east coast but could not find the right fit. A breeder from Pennsylvania referred me to Shadowlawn.  She said she knew you to be a reputable breeder and a good person. After looking at your website, I loved the kittens that I saw.  We spoke via email and you were so helpful in describing the personalities of the kittens that you had and their parents as well. When we finally settled on Nikolai we got updates and pictures regularly.  We met your daughter at the airport and everything went smoothly.  We were handed a sweet, healthy little guy!

Now, 8 months later, he has become a beloved family member. He is such a loving cat and very happy to greet guests. He does great with our 1 1/2 year old grandson, never scratches or bites him. They play with each other’s toys! My husband, who was not all that excited about getting another cat, loves him too. As a matter of fact Nikolai's favorite place to sleep is between his legs!

Nikolai was easy to train as far as using his scratching post and not our furniture, carpet or legs. We used some wide double sided tape on the furniture and only had it on for a few weeks. He is a smart kitty and a hunter!  He caught two mice over the winter and he loves to chase down any insects that happen to get in the house. He has brought that life that only a pet can bring to your home. Thanks to you for raising such great companions! I would recommend Shadowlawn to anyone who is looking for a feline friend!

Hi Lillian,

Twinkle Toes is doing really well and growing fast.   Megan (the oldest) loves her but so does Molly (the youngest) and Twinkles seems to really like the baby for some reason. I sent you a picture of what I  find now if the bedroom door is left open.   Matthew gave us about a week worth of trouble trying to pick her up roughly,  etc but he is over it and loves her as well.   She loves playing with all 3 and she loves lying on me if I am feeding the baby or if I am on the computer.

My hope for this kitten was to make my daughter less afraid of animals.  I never understood her fear, as I have always been an animal-lover.  When she told me she wanted a kitten, I jumped at the opportunity to make her one as well. I have to say, Twinkles is succeeding in doing that I had hoped.  She is much more at ease with our cats at the barn, with our dogs, and with my parents' animals.  Despite the kitten being extremely active and playful, even "wild" sometimes, she knows she isn't trying to hurt her and she is just playing.  She laughs about her instead of becoming fearful.

Thank you for the opportunity to have such a wonderful kitten!

Thanks again!

Just a quick note the thank Lillian for the two wonderful “monkey’s” that she has sent into our lives.  These kitties have changed our home completely or should I say they have turned it up-side-down but in a good way.  Their personalities have changed so much from the beginning.  Tasha, our silver Siberian, came to us a little shy and missing her litter companion but has become the queen of the house.  She is very talkative and demands attention all the time.  Max, Tasha’s big sister by three days, is so laid back and lets Tasha tell her what to do most of the time.  Max picks playing over sleeping all the time.  We are so glad that we got two because the love each other so much and provide constant entertainment for the other.  They run through the house at top speeds and only stop for a bit of fake wrestling.   Me and my husband just sit and laugh at them all the time.  They love people so much and I know this is because of Lillian.  She and her family did such a great job raising these little girls and getting them ready for us! Thanks again.  Barb and Shawn

Dear Lillian,

I have thought of you so many times over the course of the past year and finally found time to contact you. I want to let you know how much we love our kitties. They are the best cats we have ever had. They are sweet, loving, smart, well-behaved, entertaining, beautiful and just perfect pets.

We commend you on raising incredible kittens and also on knowing your kittens so well. When we first got Savannah on July 2, 2013, you said she’d be fine whether we kept her confined for the first few days or not. Sure enough, she adjusted to her new surroundings immediately and was instantly a part of our family. Of course, she had to check out every room in the house but seemed perfectly fine being with us from the start. She would sit happily on my lap and let me stroke her, while she purred and purred. She loved to play with all of the toys I got for her, and especially enjoyed when I played with her. She ate well, allowed me to brush her, and used the litter box with no problem. Every afternoon however, she would disappear for her “alone time” but compliantly would come out again whenever I called. I called her the perfect cat – sweet, loving, gorgeous, well-behaved and not demanding.

Three weeks later, Nicky arrived after a very tedious journey. You described him as being “a character” and you told me he would adjust better if confined to a smaller space for a day or two. He was extremely upset from the time he arrived at the Philadelphia airport and continued to be upset when we got home. That first day, he walked around the kitchen crying constantly; it broke my heart. His saving grace was having Savannah here and he clung to her. At first, she was not happy to have him enter her home and wanted nothing to do with him. We kept him in the kitchen for a few days while she had the run of the house. We would bring her into the kitchen whenever we were in there and she seemed to enjoy being with him for short periods of time. He of course, only wanted to be with her and would cry for her when she left the room. After only a day or two of this supervised visitation, Savannah started hanging by the kitchen door and wanting to spend more time with Nicky. And from then on, they have been best of buddies.

Nicky’s personality and appearance are very different from Savannah’s. He is more socially motivated and really needs to be around people to be happy. Nicky is wherever we are. He “talks” a lot and likes to chirp while running down the hallway. He will hop into an open drawer or box left on the floor and loves to explore. He also enjoys greeting visitors and will often rub on their shoes or “drop and roll” in front of them for a rub. He has such a sweet, loving nature and his appearance is visually interesting as well as adorable.

Savannah continues to be gorgeous and a wonderful kitty. We call her “our gym-nist”. She loves to jump onto high places and go flying down the hallway. She runs very fast and is extremely agile. At times when the cats play, they will jump straight up in the air facing each other. Other times, Savannah will run and jump right over Nicky. They have great fun and are great fun to watch!

Our kitties continue to have different personalities and appearances but have formed a strong bond – with each other and with us. They enjoy time with each other as well as time alone. They play together, nap together, eat together but still respect each others’ space.

As I said previously, they are superb cats and perfect pets. You have done an excellent job as a breeder and we are so happy to reap the benefits of your labors. Thank you!!

Fondly,

Anita Kaufman

I grew up with cats and loved them.  However, when my youngest child showed signs of severe allergic responses to cats, or course I decided having a cat wasn’t an option. I thought the only cats which were hypoallergenic were the funny looking short haired Cornish Rex breed.  When my youngest went off to college I decided to investigate the possibility of any other low allergy breeds and discovered the Siberians but was still skeptical. I found Shadowlawn Cattery on line and was thrilled that Lillian lived only a few minutes from my house.  I called her and told her my dilemma, that even if my child was in college I didn’t want to cause a problem for him when he came home between semesters or over the summer, so we hatched a plan.  I arrived at Shadowlawn wearing a red cotton shirt and picked up some precious kittens hoping to collect some of their fur on my shirt.  I wore the shirt around my son when he came home and even hugged him and guess what, no reaction at all!   I fell in love with the picture of Czarina online and when I had been at Lillian’s house of all cats, Czarina actually came right up to me.  Lillian agreed to let me adopt her when she retired, which I did.  After a few months I noticed that Rina (nickname) was lethargic and didn’t seem “happy”.  I read online that Siberians are a social breed and many times are happier when with other cats.  It made sense; she had been a ‘queen’ living with other cats for over 5 years and now had no feline companionship.  I saw a picture of Rina’s daughter Natasha on the website and decided to wait until she was ready to be adopted.  I would check the site at least once a month.  One time I checked and noticed she was up for adoption but was already reserved.  I was so upset but couldn’t do anything about it.  A few months later I noticed she was up for adoption again but not reserved.  I called Lillian immediately and said I wanted her.  It turns out that the people who reserved her didn’t want to wait for her to have her last litter and adopted another retired queen. So after all the waiting, I have reunited mother and daughter, now known as Rina and Sasha.  When I first brought Sasha home I had a picture in my mind of how happy Rina would be to finally have a companion.  I was so wrong.  Rina did something I never heard or saw her do, she growled at Sasha.  However, Sasha was oblivious, happy and loving and kept purring and running around, playing like a kitten and letting me love up on her.  It took one week during which time I didn’t hear Rina purr once!  Then suddenly things settled down and I caught Rina licking and grooming Sasha and Sasha was the happy recipient.  Since then Rina has had more energy, plays and runs more and when Sasha can’t be found and I call her, both Rina and I go looking for her.  They both respond to their names and come running when I call them for a meal or to play and stay close to me in whatever room they I am in.  They truly are like dogs inside of cat bodies.  I love them dearly and am so very happy that Lillian provided them a loving home and I reap the benefits.
Ps. When my son comes home for college the first thing he does is go to Rina and Sasha and pets them and plays with them a good long time.  He has even cat sit for me for a week when I was away.  No problems.

Hi Lillian,
Zoe is wonderful! We've never had a kitten that's so affectionate and loves to be around us all the time. We joke that she's more like a dog than a cat :). She is so attached to my son and she has been therapeutic to his ADHD. She has truly changed him. We all love her so much. And she's getting quite big already. Here's a picture of her and my son I took last week.

I am extremely allergic to cats and was advised by my allergist never to adopt another one after my last cat passed away.  I had to be on Zyrtec for the nearly 20 years I had her, and even on the medication I would sneeze and have red itchy eyes.  I’ve had Zoe for nearly 2 months now, and I hold her for hours and snuggle with her, yet have not had so much as a sniffle!

Dear Lillian,

I hope you are well. I had to send you this adorable picture of Bella. My daughter was baking a cake and Bella jumped up on the counter (we don't have the heart to train her) and started playing with the eggs. She is seriously the most adorable thing we have ever seen. I have been a cat lover all my life, and I have never met a cat like her. She is brilliant, hilarious, gorgeous (we call her our supermodel) and so beyond friendly. She definitely doesn't think she is a cat and she isn't treated like one either! She brings us laughter, love, and joy all day, every day. She totally talks to us. She has different voices for different things. Yesterday, Bella and I were in my living room and my daughter was in the kitchen. My daughter yelled, "Bella" and Bella chirped in response and started running to her. It is the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen. She tells us what she wants all the time. Every night at 9:30 when I have just tucked in my youngest son, Bella is waiting for me in the hallway so that we can play hide and seek. She jumps up on me and then runs and hides behind a door. I then get on the floor and we play. I am a grown woman on the floor belly laughing. It is like having a baby again. I could go on and on. I have been reading about the Siberian breed and it is amazing how unique and special they are as breed. I also took my kids to the allergist and they are having no reaction from Bella and she has lived with us for five months. All we can say is...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES. AND FEEL FREE TO PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE!!!

Much love,
The Finkels, PA

I just had to write you and thank you again for this little precious puff of fur that you brought into our lives.  Prinz  Pushkin is all I hoped for and so much more. I can not imagine life with out him.  From the moment we took him from your arms at the airport he entered our hearts. He took to us right away, so friendly and sweet he snuggled and purred all the way home.
Once we arrived home we showed him his new surroundings, his food and water, litter box, toys, and his playroom. that I call Prinz’ies Pad. He was right at home with all of us, purring and playing cuddling with everyone. No reactions from anyone who has allergies!!! And they were kissing  and petting him too. My Son was so happy.
It was easy to see that this little boy was loved from the moment he was born. He is just the most well adjusted friendly kitten that I have every seen. After he enjoyed playing and snuggling for aw
hile he went off and found his litter box and then went to his food and water for a little snack, we were so impressed at how smart he was for a baby. He never has had an accident and continues to consistently use his litter box.
This is all thanks to you Lillian, this does not happen by accident, I know that Prinz was loved, and cared for, and nurtured to be the loving little boy that you brought to me. I know this too because you were so nice and caring to me, having experienced the loss of my beloved cat, “Sixie” a short 6 months ago. I really thought I could not be ha
ppy again, losing Sixie was like losing a child, my little boy all of his life. He always made me happy and I know he would want me to be happy. I felt that you wanted to bring happiness back into my life, and you have done just that.
Lillian, you were so nice and caring on the phone, you were never too busy to talk to me, you always finished every phone call with…”if you think of anything else just call” ,and by email,  you kept me informed and involved every week with notes of how my baby was doing and with beautiful pictures of him that I was delighted to share with family and friends. You are so special, even now after I have taken Prinz home you have become a trusted friend and source of comfort and knowledge, and I can not thank you enough.
Anyone who is looking for a  beautiful sweet kitten as a new member of their family, and wants a  Professional Breeder  that is kind, caring, loving, especially nice and great to adopt from in every way, do not look any further…you have found her! Mommy Lillian is the best!  I could go on and on…but I will just say one more thing…..Lillian, You… are the Cat’s Meow.

Sincerely, Maria Piccione, Media, PA.

Beginning in Dec, ’09 I began searching the web for Siberian breeders.  Some never answered my e-mails, nor my phone calls, and a few had no kittens at that time.  Then mid January, ’10, I came across Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery with the breeder’s cell phone number listed.  How unusual, I thought.  So I called and Lillian answered.  After talking with her for a bit and having her answer all my questions, I knew I need not look further.  Levi was born on 1/27 and Lily on 1/29. The whole process was such a wonderful and positive experience.  Lillian was terrific in keeping me updated with how the little ones were doing.  From week two, photos were sent and such professional  photos at that! Three months was a long time to wait for the little ones, but keeping in touch the way Lillian did, made those long winter months go by quickly.  Finally, April came and the trip to the Airport.  Having the kittens hand delivered was such a great experience and it was wonderful to meet Lillian.  It was quite obvious how much she loves and cares about her kittens.  Levi and Lily have been in their “forever” home for a little over 2 months now.  They are such a joy!  Having two is terrific and I highly recommend it if at all possible.  They are SO close to each other.  They are always playing together; they clean each other, & sometimes sleep together.  So gentle, so loving and just a joy to have around.  They are wonderful with visitors and you can tell that they have been raised with love and care.  They are better than I ever imagined they would be.

If you are looking for a reliable and caring breeder who will deliver the best and most affectionate Siberian kitten imaginable, then you need not look any further .Thanks, Lillian, for all you’ve done and continue to do.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Josie Pandolfino, Centerville, MA

I first made contact with Lillian this past January after my family (husband and ten year old twin sons) lost our 2 year old Siberian named Rickey (who we got from another breeder) to a host of medical problems.  We were all devastated by the loss since we had grown very attached to him in a short amount of time.
My initial reaction after Rickey got so sick was to question the general health of the breed.  After doing extensive research, it was apparent that the issue was not the breed.  My family was still somewhat hesitant to get another kitten until we made contact with Lillian and all of our fears were alleviated.
Our first phone call lasted a really long time.  Lillian was very open and answered all of my questions and then some.  I remember thinking after the first phone call that it would be possible for our family to open our hearts and home and love another Siberian.  My rapport with Lillian was instant.  She is a wealth of information and genuinely loves her cats and kittens.  If we were going to trust another breeder (and I looked into others), it would be Lillian.  Lillian took the time to talk to my sons over the phone about questions they had which made them more comfortable too. At the time we spoke to Lillian, the mother that Lillian wanted us to get a kitten from was pregnant.  Lillian was great with keeping the lines of communication open as the due date got closer. On February 7, 2010, during the Super Bowl, the mother went into labor.  We were all so excited when Lillian called and we were able to hear the mother in labor.  We shared our excitement with our friends who were at our house to watch the Super Bowl.  Finally, our kitten was born and that was when the excitement really began!  Lillian was great at sending us emails to let us know how and what our kitten was doing.  After he opened his eyes, Lillian was emailing us photos of him every week.  She takes great photos!  The pictures made us feel like we were really a part of watching him grow and they showed us how cute he was and how he was progressing.  We all looked forward to receiving the emails.  I even forwarded them to some friends and family so they could see how cute our new addition was.  The pictures made the 11 weeks we had to wait to bring him home fly by. As we got closer to the delivery date, Lillian emailed us a very detailed list of everything our new addition (Rally) would need.  April 29, our delivery date came.  It was such a great experience for my sons to go to the airport to pick Rally up.  The day was perfect and I don't think any of us will forget it.  I know I will never forget the excitement in my sons faces when they met their new "little brother."
Today is 3 weeks since we got Rally and he is sleeping in my lap as I write this.  Each passing day with Rally gets better and better.  He is everything we wanted and more.  He is very sweet and playful, a perfect match for our family.  We are all so happy when he is there to greet us at the door and when he comes running and meowing when we call his name.  He has a great appetite and loves the food Lillian recommended.  Rally is simply adorable.  My sons love to play with him and they love it when he sleeps on their laps.  More importantly, he has received a very clean bill of health from the vet.  I am confident that Rally will be a member of this family for a long time to come.
My contact with Lillian did not end on the delivery date.  Lillian has been great with checking in on us and answering any questions we have.  I feel like I'm finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.  We got a healthy, beautiful and playful kitten that makes us smile every day and seems to love us as much as we love him.  We got our Rally from a breeder I trust, one that I would wholeheartedly recommend and get another kitten from.  Thanks so much for our little boy Lillian!

Dear Lillian,
Thank you so much for our little Russia! We just adore her. She is growing to be even more beautiful than we imagined and is the most affectionate and playful pet we have ever had. We were thrilled to find how playful and social she is (a sign that she was obviously well cared for by you!) In fact, she just initiated a game of chase with me a few minutes ago! She greets us when we come home, runs and plays with my daughter each day, and sits quietly with her when she does her homework (or tries to sit on her homework, which is so funny.) It has been life changing for my daughter to have such a loving and healthy pet.
You made the experience of choosing a kitten, visiting her and then picking her up such fun! You always made us feel welcome and provided us with great information on caring for her. Even after we brought her home and I had a few questions, you answered my emails very quickly and were so helpful. We will always be grateful to you for our precious kitten and for the care and love you showed to her that helped make her such a sweet girl. We would highly recommend Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery to anyone looking for a top quality Siberian kitten. Thanks so much!

We got our little boy, Quincy, October 2009 and we could not ask for a better pet, housemate, or companion.  He has been a true delight.  We have other cats and Quincy is always the rock-solid steadiest of them.  We've never had a litter box mistake, he comes to meet us at the door always (of course, he gets a treat he loves), and is a wonderful office cat as I work at home.  He is gorgeous and I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about him, unless of course you don't like loud purring.  Lillian was wonderful through the process.  We were able to stop and see Quincy about two weeks before she brought him to us.  Lillian's cattery/house was full of wonderful cats and kittens and they all seemed really engaged with visitors.  When we saw Quincy he had just awakened and was not the most social at that time, but Lillian assured us that he would be a cutie - and she was correct in every way.  I heartily recommend her and her kittens.

BTW:  I have a slight fel-d allergy, but Quincy causes me no problems.  He sleeps in bed with us every night.

Best,   Don Martin

We found Lillian and Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery while doing an online search for a Seal Lynx Point Siberian.  Our adoption experience was very positive:  Lillian made the process convenient and fun. More importantly, our Sonya is a top-quality kitten.  Not only is she gorgeous and robustly healthy, she is also very well “socialized.”  Sonya is about as friendly as a kitten can get.  She talks to us frequently, follows us around, sleeps with us, and (unlike kittens whose breeders do not interact with them enough when they are small), she loves to be pet and held. This is critical, and there’s no way you can assess this just by looking at cute kitten pictures online.  As I write this she is actually curled around my keyboard, sleeping (adorable)!  Our children, in particular, are delighted by her cuddly, funny personality.  And it only took about 10 days for Sonya and her “big brother” Dmitri (a Blue Siberian we adopted from a different breeder) to become best friends! If you’re looking for premium Siberian kittens, you've found them at Shadowlawn Siberian Cattery.

Dear Lillian,
Thought you'd like to see our Sasha one week into our home.  Lillian - This little girl is now firmly part of our Family.  We are all completely smitten with this kitten!
As you can see in this picture, I am well-adjusted to her!  Last Wednesday, as I was taking a quick "cat-nap" after working in the yard, Sasha found me, curled up directly under my chin, and napped with me.  I had no adverse reactions then, or to-date.  In fact, I haven't had to change my allergy-routine at all (I do use my Flonase once a day, as I have for the past year).  Truly, these cats are terrific for cat-lovers with allergies.  I guess I had to experience it to believe it, but it's very true.

Lillian, you were great to deal with and Janet and I appreciated the professional, yet caring way that you handled things.  We started with fur samples that you provided earlier; I rubbed them against my inside-arms (where I usually am most cat-sensitive) with no reaction.  Then, when these nice people you referred me to candidly offered their experiences as allergy-sufferers living with a Siberian, we decided to move ahead.  When we arrived at your house, you brought the kitten out to me in the car.  This gave me a true test as to whether I would react to THIS kitten alone, plus it avoided pressures of "excess anticipation".  Once I saw that there was little or no reaction, you invited us inside.  This was a wise way to gauge whether I could "live" with a Siberian.

That evening, we put Sasha in our sun-room and I curled up on the couch to spend the night with her.  We both did fine - me with no apparent allergic reactions, the kitten with exploring her new environment.  By Sunday afternoon, she was "at home".

We are continually amazed at how affectionate Sasha is.  She really wants to be with us wherever we are, loves curling up with us on the couch, and is a genuine delight to all of us.  We are truly happy with our decision, or rather Sasha's decision to adopt us!

Thanx again to all your previous customers  with all their help and willingness to share their experiences with living with a Siberian.  Ours is definitely "a keeper"!

Best Regards,  Barry A. Lauer, S.C.  November 2009

Lillian, Kara and I are very thankful that we came across your website and decided to purchase our black Siberian from you.  We love  Bagheera more than we would have ever thought possible. She sleeps right around Kara's neck whenever I'm not with her and follows us like a true companion.  We also get an astounding amount of  compliments on how gorgeous she is and comments on how playful she can  be.
If you can recall, the reason we went with the Siberian was because  Kara's roommate is severely allergic and I am slightly as well.
Bagheera has been shoved in the face of multiple people with lifelong cat allergies without any signs of reaction.  The long hair doesn't even give us problems - she is a very clean cat.
Hopefully one day we will have the opportunity to purchase another Siberian playmate for her.

Thank you very much,

Hi Lillian, Thought you might want to see some photos of Sammy --he is growing like crazy!
He really is a perfect kitty--everybody says so.  You have obviously done a great job with your breeding & socialization.  He is playful, curious, intelligent, and loving.  He can be found most nights sleeping on someone's chest or head.  He is not a "scaredy-cat" at all & takes to strangers well--does not go & hide like a lot of cats do. He loves to play with the kids, jumping & chasing.  He also likes to sit & cuddle on my lap or on my desk when I'm at the computer.

He loves to play "boo" with us.  He will hide around a corner & jump out to scare us.  Then we will hide & do the same to him.  He can do this over & over.  He also loves to play with his toys (balls, mice) & chase a laser light or a flashlight on the floor & walls--he can jump very high!
We also gets lots of comments about how beautiful he is--his tail is so fluffy and he loves to have it rubbed.    We got a leash & have taken him outside a couple of times--he was a little scared at first of a barking dog, but he got used to it quickly.  He is a very loving "guard cat" and will often sit and watch the front door at the top of the stairs while we sleep.

Sammy has a wonderful relationship with my young son, Sean.  One morning I saw him standing up on 2 legs with his arms stretched out on the bed just watching Sean sleep.  We refer to him as Sean's little brother.
P.S. I can attest to the fact that he is truly a hypo-allergenic cat.  Most cats sleeping on me would cause me to have a major sneezing fit, but not one sneeze here. (He cuddles right up under the covers).  I have mentioned it to several people--trying to get you some business, and people are very fascinated by that.  I have had others here at the house who are also allergic to cats & they have been fine too.

Thank you,

Lillian,

Here's a picture of Henry holding his catnip bear and licking his paw. He might be the cutest thing I've ever seen in my whole life.
Course, this picture was taken in June. He's quite a bit heftier now ;-)

We just adore him. If we could, we'd buy out your stock of kittens!!

Hi Lillian.  We are all so happy to have Sasha in our family. From the very first, she has charmed us with her lovable and playful personality. She has been very healthy and affectionate. We have gotten lots of compliments on how beautiful, well-behaved and social she is and she gets along very well with our 4 children and our older cat. I also let people know what a great experience it was adopting from you. The whole process was easy and straightforward. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful addition to our family. If any of my friends ever look to adopt a Siberian, I will highly recommend you.

I hope all is well with you!

Dear Lillian: Thank you so much for our new family member, Buddy. We all love him so very much.

My son and husband have cat allergies, which led me to research the Siberian breed. Buddy has been with us for more than a year, and I am happy to say we have no cat allergy difficulties with Buddy. Now my son can enjoy a family pet as much as his friends without allergies.
Buddy is a very quiet cat. He is good natured and plays well with our children as well as other neighborhood children. We will always be thankful to you for such a wonderful companion animal.

Sincerely yours,
Melissa Smith

Hi Lillian,   Here are some pictures of Sulley, our wonderful Siberian.  He loves to cuddle and is a very personable cat who purrs nonstop when we're around him. We couldn't imagine a cat having a better personality.  Sulley has full reign of the house and he mostly sleeps all day. He gets tired on the weekends when he isn't able to get all the sleep he's accustomed to getting during the week.
When we come home from work, he is all play until bedtime. Thanks,

Dear Lillian:
Just thought we would send you a photo of our beautiful Black/Smoke Siberian boy Winston.  He is the sweetest cat and is a true family pet – he loves everybody.  He brings our family such joy, especially
our dau ghter (age 5), who adores him more than anything.  Winston has brought lots of southern charm to our New York home. None of us have experienced any allergic reactions to him.
Thanks again, Liz & Greg

You could not find a better cattery to purchase your new kitten from than Lillian Narramore. She was so helpful to us and she truly knows her stuff!

She delivered Yasha to us in December and he has been such a joy! He is very healthy and has grown very fast. If you truly want a good Siberian kitten than I would recommend purchasing one from Lillian. We have 2 grandchildren that are allergic to cats and dogs and they do fine with our kitten.
I  have sent you one of him in his peaceful mode and one in action! We truly love our kitten.

Good Luck to you,
Gail

It was my good fortune to meet Lillian Narramore from Shadowlawn Cattery and purchase a Siberian kitten from her in the fall of 2006. Our kitten, Bear, has given our entire household, humans and cats, a great deal of joy and is a wonderful addition to our family. Lillian was a pleasure to deal with and clearly cares about her cats. If you’re interested in a wonderful cat from a caring breeder, I don’t believe you can go wrong with Lillian.

Dear Lillian,
I knew from the moment I saw your web site that you were the one I wanted to buy my Siberian from.  When we talked on the phone I was indeed sure about my decision!  It was very clear to tell that you breed these kittens because you have a passion for the breed and you love every one of your kittens.  Once we decided to get not just one but two of them,  you went out of your way not only to send pictures every week of their progress, you started putting them together for their "photo shoots."  Even more importantly, you put them together for them to get to know each other.   It's obvious that they were well socialized with each other and with people. I appreciate having all those pictures you sent from their birth until it was time for them to come home. I felt like I knew my babies before they arrived!

Our Siberians are the most delightful cats!  I would recommend to anyone considering buying a kitten, to consider buying two! Having two together is more fun than I can tell you .  They are loving, sweet, beautiful, very playful and I think the perfect cats.

It was an exciting time, from picking out our kittens until we picked them up at the airport.  Since we're in California, getting them was a big issue.  We can't thank your husband Gary enough for delivering them to us.

Many thanks to you and Gary for making it possible to have my "dream" kitties.  Siberians make wonderful" furry" family members!

Dear Lillian,

I just cannot tell you what a joy Vasha is in our lives. She has bonded with every member of our family. She regularly "attacks" our 100 lbs lab, who seems to love the companionship.

My 4 year old daughter greets the kitty before she says "hello" to me in the morning. I've said to my husband several times that Vasha is the best present he ever gave me. Thank you so much the blessing you've given us.
